The impact theory of Himalaya Innovate reflects how we foster social impact innovation for sustainability through a people-centered approach, guided by the principles of Inner Development Goals (IDGs).
IDGs serve as the core foundations for people’s internal development by focusing on the relationship to self, which are essential for individuals to become agents of change. Through IDGs, the pathway labeled “being” refers to nurturing our inner selves and strengthening our connection to our thoughts, emotions, and body allows us to be present, intentional, and calm when confronted with complexity. Meanwhile, IDGs also present “thinking” which enhances our cognitive abilities by considering diverse perspectives, analyzing information, and understanding the world as an interconnected whole is crucial for making wise decisions.
